They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore! Back in 1988 this was at the top of Fuji’s mountain bike offerings just behind their Mount Fuji. The frame is really cool. It’s made from Tange Outer Butted Chromoly tubing. There are bosses for 2 water bottles on the down tube. It has a brazed lugged unicrown fork which is unique. This is a very solid and well built frame. The frame and quill stem were powder coated in a Firecracker Red. The handlebars were powder coated gloss black. The powder coating gives the bike a very durable finish. The frame measurements are: seat tube - 22 inches and the top tube - 22 inches. Most of the components are original. The bike has a 6 x 3 drivetrain with the original Suntour XCD 6000 derailleurs and Dia-Compe brakes. The front brake is a cantilever and the rear is a U-brake mounted underneath the frame. The U-brake was kind of beaten up so it was replaced. The integrated shifters and brakes had also seen better days so I replaced those too. Those parts that are consumable or contact points were replaced with new. New to the bike are: Panaracer Smoke and Dart retro look tires, inner tubes, rim tape, cables and cable housing, Lizard Skin grips, Suntour XCD integrated shifters and brake levers, brake pads, pedals, chain, and a brown leather leather look Charge Spoon saddle. All the work has been done for you and the bike is ready to ride. Hit the “Contact” button if you are interested.
